Love at first...preschool?

So pretty much everyone that has talked to Will at all about his friends and 3 yr old preschool has heard all about Olivia. He can quote you her full name and her favorite things to do and eat. She can probably tell you most of the same things about him. They have been best friends since preschool started. But best friends has quickly morphed into, well, inseparable. And they can never end time together without a hug. It's really super sweet. Slightly scary, but super sweet.

The "slightly scary" part comes from the more recent comments such as (Will, to his preschool teacher, after Olivia took her ponytail out) "Olivia looks even more beautifuller with her hair down." And the Incredible Hulk picture that Olivia colored especially for Will. Let me tell you how excited Will was when he came home from school Tuesday with a picture just for him from Olivia. Of the Hulk, no less. He was "king of the world" that afternoon.

I still chuckle at Adam's (Olivia's dad) comment when he first met Will. "Will, I'll be your friend for the next 10 years and then all bets are off." :-) What's even funnier now is Owen, who also now thinks that Olivia hung the moon and stars. He may be in for some toddler heart break.

It just didn't seem right to have wound down the preschool year and be posting about summer without posting something about Olivia. I'm sure both she and Will will be plenty embarrassed one day in the future about their "early love" posting. Below are some pictures. If these two happen to still be in love in at least 20 years and decide to get married, you'll be seeing some of these pics at the rehearsal dinner slide show. :-) And you can say "I knew y'all when..."

PS I think the deal clencher for Will was when Olivia showed up at his dinosaur birthday party wearing...her own dinosaur hat! He knew right then she was the woman for him. :-) He even saved her the dinosaur cake topper! Now that's love right there...
